A Little Bit About Me

Hello! I am Nicole, a woman from the south of Italy, who, over a decade ago, decided to move to London to embark on a journey to become a professional dancer. After three years at Central School of Ballet and obtaining my BA(Hons) in Professional Dance and Performance, I joined Matthew Bourne's New Adventures in 2010 and have been a member of the company ever since.
In the last 16 years I have performed in many venues in the UK and internationally.

My love of fitness started in my mid 20s, I was struggling with my mental health and often my days off felt very long and lonely, so I decided to sign up to my local gym and my weekly training sessions became my therapy.
In the last few years, despite still being passionate about theatre, I have decided to make personal training and coaching part of my professional life.  Combining my personal training skills and dancing knowledge has helped many people discover how motivation can be turned into discipline and that as long as one is strong and flexible, the body has a lot of potential.

On top of being a dancer and coach, I am also a mother of two. Pregnancy and postpartum have been the most challenging and redefining moments of my life and I am passionate about supporting people through their physical changes, without underestimating what they can do. I really disliked being underestimated while pregnant, and I resent being underestimated now when I step back on stage. Motherhood has given me the most precious super power: ambition.
